Your Spirituality – Move from Learning to Doing!

Are you still studying to become spiritual person?
Do you feel that your effort to grow your spirituality bring no discernible advancement, and your life is the same?
Is your enthusiasm waning, indirectly proportionally to the amount of money you’re spending on spiritual books, DVDs and lectures and seminars?
Have you become disillusioned with your spiritual guru and are on a lookout for a new one?
Is the idea of changing the camp and enrolling with another “school of thought” that promises the “ultimate of everything” gaining strength in you?

Stop right there, time to graduate! In case nobody has told you, you already are spiritual. That’s how the Creator made you to be. It’s up to you, whether you’ll choose you ego (the self) to run your life, or allow it to be only a servant of your true identity – the Self. The scene is already set; now, time to bring some action. Each moment in your life presents new situations where you’re asked what you want to empower: the ego, or the Self. It’s your choice whether you raise your voice in anger, next time somebody or something crosses you… Only you decide how your idealistic and pure meditation’s experiences impact your ordinary stream of thoughts. There’s no point in for an ideal situation where your can live like a saint. Has such a situation existed, we all would live like a saint; but, here on earth, only very few do. Therefore, do as much as you can, with as little as you’ve got!

All the spiritual books and DVDs you own, and all the spiritual knowledge you’ve gained from them amount to nothing, till some deliberate action follows. Be honest with yourself and replace the patter “learn – learn some more” with “learn – do – learn some more.” After all, you’re not in it to become a learned spiritualist, the Einstein of spirituality. You’re in it because the signpost “This way to Enlightenment” appeared in your life path to ultimately define your destiny. How long is it going to take you to get there? What is it that you’re saying about the conditions? “The conditions are far from perfect, life is hard enough, but I’m trying the best I can…” listen to what Dr David R Hawkins says: “Give up the excuse of trying. Just do it!” Constantly practicing what you know moves you closer to the finish. Do it, and relish the progress, no matter how small. Even one tenth of an inch matters. Remember the saying: There’s less than an inch between heaven and hell.” You know best, where you’re now. Do it, and get where you want to be!
